Paul ReiserPaul Reiser (born March 30, 1957) is an American actor. Though known mostly for his starring television roles, he started his career as a stand-up comedian.
Reiser's TV credits include My Two Dads and an acclaimed performance in the British TV drama My Beautiful Son.
Despite enjoying the somewhat successful film career—most notably around James Cameron's 1986 Aliens, as a treacherous company executive—Reiser is most easily-known for his role within Mad About You, a long heading sit-com co-starring Helen Hunt. A indicate was and so successful that, in the final 1999 season, he and Hunt were paid $1 million by the episode for the indicate.
Reiser co-wrote Mad All about Professional people's theme song, entitled "Final Frontier", by having Don Was. A best known version of the song is the a single recorded by Anita Baker prior to the 1997 season. Reiser & Baker performed a song together when appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, with Reiser accompanying a songstress on the piano.
Reiser graduated from either Stuyvesant High School in New York City and earned his bachelor's degree at Binghamton University, where he majored in music (piano, composition). Reiser married Paula Ravets in 1988; they use 1 boy together, Ezra (born 1995).
